Who I Am & What Drives Me

Hello! My name is Tabita. I’m someone who enjoys learning, creating, and building connections between different parts of my life. My journey has been anything but ordinary, I started in healthcare, working as a registered nurse, and later transitioned into computer science and software development. That shift taught me an important lesson: skills from one field can strengthen another. Compassion, problem-solving, and critical thinking from nursing now fuel my approach to coding, design, and technology.

Blending Creativity, Technology, and Everyday Life

I’m currently pursuing my degree in Software Application Design and Development, where I focus on blending logic with creativity. I love exploring new tools, building projects that solve real problems, and pushing myself to understand how technology can improve everyday life. Outside of academics, I enjoy music—I play guitar and sing—and find balance in fitness, gardening, and time with family.

What drives me most is curiosity and the belief that growth comes from stepping outside of comfort zones. Whether it’s learning a new programming language, presenting a project, or experimenting with creative ideas, I’m motivated by the challenge and the opportunity to make something meaningful.

At the heart of it all, I want to bring people together—through technology, creativity, or simple moments of connection.
